We Rock the Spectrum Kids Gym Novi is Metro Detroit's first inclusive sensory gym and development center for children of all abilities. We provide a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where kids of all ages can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based learning.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Preschool Teacher to lead our inclusive, play-based preschool program during weekday Monday to Thursday 9:30-12pm . This position is ideal for self-starter who is passionate about early childhood education and confident building strong relationships with families. The ideal candidate will also support program growth and enrollment by creating a high-quality experience that families love and recommend.
Responsibilities:
Lead preschool classes for children ages 2-4 Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports all children Communicate regularly and positively with parents and caregivers Collaborate with team members to improve programming and drive enrollment Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness in line with licensing and internal standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a preschool, daycare, or early learning setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field Experience with neurodiverse children or sensory-based programming Strong classroom management and communication skills Passionate about inclusive education and play-based learning Able to work independently and take initiative Reliable and punctual, with consistent weekday availability

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
