  • Full-time For Kids' Sake Early Learning Centers For Kids' Sake Early Learning Centers is looking for an experienced, passionate, and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team.
This position is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator who understands the unique developmental needs of toddlers and is ready to bring their knowledge, creativity, leadership, and love of teaching into a supportive, high-quality childcare environment. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position . At For Kids' Sake, our goal is to create the Best Day Ever for every child, family, and team member. Creating a classroom community where every child and family feels known, valued, and included What You'll Do As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities Supporting toddler development in language, motor skills, social-emotional growth, independence, and early problem-solving Creating predictable classroom routines that help toddlers feel safe and successful Building strong, responsive relationships with each child Maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming, and safe classroom Supervising children closely and following all licensing and safety requirements Supporting children through meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, transitions, and daily care routines Documenting children's learning, development, and classroom experiences Communicating regularly and professionally with families Partnering with families to support each child's individual needs Guiding and supporting Assistant Teachers and classroom staff Working collaboratively with the leadership team and other teachers Bringing the Best Day Ever framework and our core values into daily classroom experiences Required Qualifications Applicants must have: A valid Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education Between 5 and 10 years of experience working in a licensed childcare, preschool, or early childhood education setting Previous experience working with toddlers A strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice Experience creating and implementing lesson plans Strong classroom management and leadership skills Professional and respectful communication skills The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Dependability, patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for early childhood education The ability to meet all childcare licensing, background check, health, and training requirements The Ideal Candidate Our ideal Lead Toddler Teacher is someone who: Understands that toddler behavior is a form of communication Can balance nurturing care with meaningful educational experiences Enjoys helping young children build independence and confidence Brings creativity, consistency, and positive energy into the classroom Values teamwork and is comfortable providing guidance to classroom assistants Wants to continue growing professionally while sharing their experience with others Is looking for a long-term position at a center where teachers are supported and appreciated Why Join For Kids' Sake?
