Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Your role is vital in fostering social-emotional growth, supporting individual needs, and laying the foundation for future academic success. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and support diverse learning styles. Lead daily classroom activities that promote literacy, numeracy, physical development, and social skills through engaging lessons and play-based learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a safe and respectful environment for all children. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications. Support children with special educational needs through tailored interventions such as early intervention strategies and individualized instruction plans. Skills experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments. knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, physical education activities, and behavior management strategies. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures for young learners. Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, child welfare practices, and implementing inclusive teaching methods. Certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws; experience working with children with diverse needs is highly desirable.
