KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Rochester Hills learning center. In this on-site role, you will create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children explore, learn, and grow. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, support social-emotional skills, and closely supervise children's health and safety. Teachers partner with families through daily communication and progress updates, collaborate with colleagues, and uphold licensing and KinderCare standards. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily activities Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety standards, and child supervision at all times Observe and document children's development and learning milestones Collaborate with center staff to plan events and enhance program quality Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations and Kinder Care policies Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child supervision and safety Child development knowledge (infant-pre-K) Lesson planning and documentation Parent and family communication Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Observation and developmental assessment Basic computer skills for recordkeeping Health, safety, and sanitation practices
