Job Description
Wee folk Childcare Center is a family run business that has been serving the Rockford community for 37 years. We value all of our families and staff that have been with us for so many years.
Responsibilities:
- implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool students
- Teach literacy education, math, and physical education concepts to young children
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and safe learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and maintain a comprehensive curriculum
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred, but not required We offer competitive pay based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within our organization.
