  • South Lyon Township is seeking an enthusiastic Toddler Lead Teacher to create a nurturing classroom where young children can explore, communicate, and become increasingly independent.
Our ideal candidate understands toddler development and knows how to balance structured routines with plenty of hands-on learning, movement, creativity, and fun. Responsibilities Lead daily Toddler classroom routines and activities Create developmentally appropriate learning experiences Encourage language, independence, and positive social interactions Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers Communicate regularly with families Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous professional childcare experience preferred CDA preferred Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer $16
