The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds through developmentally appropriate educational practices, while ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom environment. In collaboration with the EHS co-teacher, the role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized learning plans, supporting family engagement, and adhering to program standards to promote school readiness and comprehensive child development. Associate degree in early childhood education preferred, or a minimum Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in infant/toddler development. Experience working with low-income/at-risk families and collaborating with community members. 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. $21.32 - $22.32 per hour. EOE.
