Job Description

Job Overview This is a full-time position beginning Aug.31 through June11. Early childhood degree or working toward it is a requirement. professional. Full-time with benefits after 60 days. Experience as a GSRP teacher is a plus! We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a key leader in our preschool community, you will design engaging curricula, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental growth of children from toddler to preschool age. Your role is vital in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive space where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, collaborate with dedicated staff, and make a lasting impact on young lives. Duties Create daily lesson plans that incorporate the High Scope Curriculum Lead classroom activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while maintaining a structured environment through effective classroom management strategies. Oversee daily childcare routines including behavior management, and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse needs. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on child welfare and early childhood education best practices. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality classroom experience and adherence to educational standards. Take daily anecdotal notes and conduct assessments using COR and monitor developmental milestones and tailor lesson plans accordingly. Send messages, pictures, videos to parents daily on our app Keep classroom organized and complete clean-up duties at the end of each day Conduct parent teacher conferences and possible home visits Qualifications Proven experience as a preschool teacher or in early childhood education with a strong background in classroom management and curriculum development. Must be dependable and dedicated to showing up on-time and every day Must be 19 years or older Familiarity with High Scope curriculum, standardized testing procedures, and literacy education approaches. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Ability to lead classroom activities that promote inclusive learning environments aligned with childhood development standards. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or a related field or currently working toward it.
Pay:
$36,000.00 per year
