Strong candidates will have worked previously in a Montessori environment, but it is not required. Our ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of early childhood development. Additional qualities include someone who is positive, patient and who also feels confident modeling peaceful conflict resolution and social-emotional regulation for children ages 2.5-5. Candidates must be willing to learn the Montessori method and intend on becoming fully trained guides. We are pleased to offer on-going career development, including support for the completion of an associate's or a bachelor's degree, Montessori training, Parent Aware Teacher's Credential, Circle of Security training, etc. We also have an on-staff guide who can mentor and train new staff on Montessori Materials.
