Open Positions Lead Infant Teacher:
working with children 6 weeks to 1 years old and the shift can be 7:30am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday Salary $21.00 - $23.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Benefits 401(k) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Health Insurance Child-Enrollment Discount Professional Development Opportunities Job Responsibilities Provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment that supports infants' emotional and developmental needs Build strong, trusting relationships with infants through responsive, attentive, and individualized care Supervise and engage infants in age-appropriate sensory, developmental, and play-based activities Support infants' daily routines, including feeding, diapering, napping, and maintaining consistent schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom Closely monitor each infant's health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a consistent, caring, and enriching classroom environment Communicate openly and professionally with parents about their child's daily experiences, development, milestones, and needs Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage infants' cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development Maintain accurate developmental observations and educational portfolios for each child Qualifications
REQUIRED
Education:
16 semester or 24 quarter credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, a completed Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification, or a completed degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
REQUIRED
Experience:
1 year of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Must be at least 18 years old Must meet background check eligibility Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
