Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Fulltime Toddler or Preschool Lead Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will inspire young learners, foster their developmental growth, and create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and joy. As a dedicated leader in early childhood education, you will implement engaging curricula, support individual needs, and build meaningful relationships with children and families. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and success. Duties Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for toddlers or preschoolers Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, socialization, and emotional growth Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and self-regulation among children Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate activities, assessments, and classroom routines Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings with classroom management expertise Ability to implement literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other subject areas effectively Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies to ensure child safety at all times Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners Proficiency in lesson planning, behavior management techniques, and classroom organization Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; experience working with children with special needs is a plus Knowledge of early intervention strategies and experience teaching physical education or tutoring young learners Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children!
