Licensed Parent Educator for Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) New Hope Learning Center 3 evening hours per week (Tuesday evenings) Hourly rate is $39- $41 RESPONSIBILITIES Plans and facilitates parent education classes using the Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Minnesota Parent Education teaching license required Knowledge of parent education, adult learning and the Parent Education Core Curriculum Framework Ability to work effectively with children and parents Experience with diverse, multicultural children and families Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program director, staff, district personnel and students Ability to work independently, with limited supervision Evidence of self-motivation, enthusiasm, patience, problem solving and flexibility Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Smartboard programsAPPLICATION PROCEDURE
