Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Educator for our Childcare and School Age Childcare Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and requires a strong understanding of childhood development and behavior management techniques. There is room for advancement and additional education and training for the right candidate. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and naptime for infants and toddlers. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Foster social skills through group activities and cooperative play. Requirements Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Familiarity with first aid practices is preferred; certification is a plus. Experience in toddler care, infant care, or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Strong teaching skills to facilitate learning through play and structured activities. Ability to manage behaviors effectively while promoting a positive atmosphere. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage. Excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents effectively.
