Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods to ensure their safety and well-being Support the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early learning standards Engage children in educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on children's progress and address any concerns Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; pediatric first aid training is highly preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors with patience and professionalism Passion for caregiving, nurturing young minds, and supporting early childhood growth Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued and supported!
