Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various capacities and possess strong skills in behavior management and classroom management. We will train the right person! Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. Supervise and engage with children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Implement behavior management strategies to address individual needs. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities. Qualifications Experience in childcare or willing to learn. Familiarity with first aid practices is a plus. Must get CPR/First Aid training once hired. Previous experience caring for children through nannying, babysitting, or daycare roles is highly valued. Strong skills in behavior management and caregiving are essential. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Must be able to pass criminal background check. DESE Childcare class requirements, set by the state, must be completed.
