Job description Little One's Day Out is a Part-Time Christian Preschool looking for an energetic, creative, and patient Teacher to provide our students with a strong educational foundation and love for learning. The ideal applicant is a team player who is dependable and nurturing. Responsibilities include lesson planning and implementation for a classroom of 4 children between the ages of 6 weeks old - 1 year old. Little One's Day Out operates closely with the Columbia Public School calendar. Our school is closed in accordance for holidays, most teacher workdays, and school breaks. Our 2026-2027 school year begins mid-August and ends mid- May. This allows teachers to have time to set up their classrooms prior to the start of school, theme plan (yes you will have a say in what you teach!), and lesson plan for the coming year. Typical work hours are 8:15 a.m. -1:15 p.m. Monday-Friday with additional paid hours for lesson planning and preparation outside of instructional hours. There are mandatory events, such as family engagement activities, student conferences, staff meetings, and trainings; these will be addititional paid hours.

Minimum Requirements:
- College Experience or degree preferred.
- Experience teaching in an early childhood classroom setting preferred.
- Must pass a physical, TB test, and background check.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers Certification.
- Must have experience working with children in a learning environment.
