This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational skills of children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create engaging lesson plans, implement age-appropriate activities, and support each child's unique learning journey. Your dedication will help cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to explore and learn. Duties Implement curriculum plans that promote early childhood development across various domains including literacy, math, physical education, Bible and social skills. Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and active participation among preschool students. Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space. Use assessment tools and standards to monitor each child's progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Facilitate age-appropriate lessons that incorporate Gospel Centered learning . Assistant with bathroom runs, making sure that children have good hygiene and changing diapers and/or clothing as necessary. Following all safety guidelines and procedures. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, social and emotional, and childcare best practices. Requirements Know, love and serve God and love kids. Be an active Member of a Christian, Gospel-Centered Church. Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting, including classroom management- a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children's support teams. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of children. Comfortable working in all ages (6 weeks-5 years old) Proven to be a proactive self-starter, creative problem solver and collaborative team player. Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and creating a loving and fun learning environment.
