Job Description

The Learning Lodge is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Lead Teacher to join our Toddler 1 classroom! If you have a passion for working with young children and enjoy creating a fun, engaging learning environment, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Create a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain daily classroom routines and schedules. Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child's day and progress. Complete daily reports, lesson plans, and required documentation. Ensure the classroom remains clean, organized, and licensing compliant. Work collaboratively with co-teachers and administration. Follow all state licensing regulations and Learning Lodge policies.
Qualifications:
Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Reliable, positive, and a team player. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Must pass a background check and meet all state childcare requirements.
