Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for infants. Your leadership will inspire both children and staff, ensuring that each child's developmental needs are met through innovative curriculum development, personalized care, and effective classroom management. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth for infants. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports toddler care and early intervention strategies. Oversee classroom management by organizing lesson plans, managing behavior, and maintaining a structured yet flexible learning space. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to uphold high standards of childcare and early childhood education. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Incorporate Montessori principles and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, standardized testing protocols, and health & safety standards across the classroom setting. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with a focus on infants and toddlers. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs tailored for early learners. Ability to work effectively with children requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to engage with families, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated expertise in classroom experience management including behavior management and child welfare practices. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood education and assessment tools such as tutoring or physical education activities.
