Job Description

Position Overview:
Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Early Childhood Program. This role supports classroom teachers by providing breaks and assists in our After Care program, working with children ages 1-5 years old .
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 5:30
PM Minimum Age:
18 years
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional toddler care in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and needs Support classroom activities, keeping the environment organized and conducive to learning Supervise indoor and outdoor play activities with close proximity care
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in toddler care with a strong focus on safety and well-being Familiarity with daycare operations and early childhood education principles Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff Experience in an early childhood setting is highly desirable A heart for ministry and a passion for early learning
