Job Description

Kiddie Academy of St. Peters is seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Responsibilities Provide attentive, loving, and responsive care to infants and toddlers Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities using Kiddie Academy's Life Essentials® curriculum Maintain consistent feeding, diapering, sleeping, and daily care routines Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom Follow all licensing, health, sanitation, and safety requirements Communicate professionally and positively with families Complete daily reports and document children's activities and development Work collaboratively with co-teachers, administrators, and other staff members Supervise children closely and maintain required classroom ratios Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and Kiddie Academy training Qualifications At least two years of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare center Knowledge of infant and toddler development, routines, and classroom management Patient, dependable, energetic, and nurturing personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift and carry children and remain active throughout the workday Must successfully complete all required background checks CPR and First Aid certification preferred CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on education and experience Supportive and professional work environment Paid training and opportunities for professional growth Paid time off after the eligibility period Employee childcare benefits Consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule No evening or weekend shifts The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives At Kiddie Academy of St. Peters, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn.
