Doggie daycare /Kennel worker

Job Overview We are seeking a part-time dedicated and compassionate Doggie Daycare/Kennel Worker to join our team. This role involves caring for animals, ensuring their safety and comfort, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, experience in animal handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with pets and contribute to their well-being while supporting our kennel operations. Hours are Monday 8:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00, Tuesday 8-12, Thursday 8-12 and Friday 8-12 Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs during daycare hours, ensuring their safety and engagement Feed, water, and administer medications as needed under supervision Clean kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques Observe animals for signs of illness or distress and report concerns to management Heavy lifting of supplies, cages, or animals as part of daily duties Maintain detailed records of animal care activities and behaviors

Skills :

Strong animal handling and restraint skills Knowledge of pet care and animal behavior management Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Animal care experience, including kennel operations. Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being This role is vital in providing a safe, clean, and loving environment for pets while supporting the daily operations of our kennel facility. Pay:

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
