Job Description
Join Our Early Childhood Substitute Team! Immanuel Lutheran School is a loving, caring, and supportive place to work. Our team encourages one another, works together, and is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for every child. We are currently seeking dependable substitutes for our Early Childhood Department . Substitutes may assist in any of the following classrooms based on program needs: Infant Room Toddler 1 Room Toddler 2 Room Preschool Rooms Prekindergarten Rooms Kindergarten Rooms Applicants should be loving, caring, patient, and at least 18 years of age. They must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and comfortably get on and off the floor to interact with children. Responsibilities may include supervising and engaging with children, assisting classroom teachers, helping with activities and daily routines, maintaining a clean and safe classroom environment, and providing additional care as needed. In our infant and toddler classrooms, responsibilities may also include diaper changes, feedings, and other basic caregiving needs. Substitute positions are a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children, would like a flexible schedule, and is interested in becoming part of the Immanuel Lutheran School community. When future Early Childhood positions become available, we typically look first to our experienced substitutes who have already demonstrated their dependability, care for children, and ability to work well with our team.
