Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers, and preschoolers. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere that promotes growth, learning, and positive behavior. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families and team members to ensure each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a safe and supportive environment, including toddlers, and preschool-aged children while showing the love of Jesus Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, learning, and social skills Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom or caregiving space Assist with daily routines such as diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Requirements Prior experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or working with children in educational environments is a plus! Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable and offered as a class if certification is needed. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive behavior through a Godly example. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working in a supportive team environment dedicated to quality caregiving.
