Job Description

Overview Join our team at Heritage Weekday Programs (Monday-Thursday) from 8:45am-1:15pm. We are a well-established early childhood education center dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for young learners. We are located in the heart of Oak Grove (inside Heritage Church), and are committed to fostering a love for learning in our students. Duties
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in the 1-2 year old aged children.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning experiences.
  • Provide individualized attention to address the unique needs of each child and support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate closely with parents to communicate children's progress, milestones, and any concerns effectively.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom conducive to learning and creativity. Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with young children in a Mother's Day Out or Preschool childcare setting is advantageous.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing teaching approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Must be willing to change diapers, get on the child's level for play and treat each child as a blessing from God.
  • Must have Reliable Transportation
  • Successful completion of background checks including fingerprinting and child abuse registry screening.
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
  • Must have a High school diploma or GED equivalent. Benefits
