Position Overview Afterschool Program Support:

Mentor school-age children, assist with homework, and lead engaging activities based on your talents and interests — art, sports, dance, STEM, or creative play.

Kitchen Support:

Assist in meal preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared safely and meets licensing and health department standards. Substitute Support Staff Substitute Support Staff are responsible for providing flexible classroom coverage across all age groups. This position supports Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers by maintaining supervision, ratios, safety, cleanliness, and consistency of routines. Substitute staff do not plan curriculum or lessons and work under the direction of classroom teaching staff and administration.

This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children in our care while maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment that meets all licensing and Health Department standards. The Float / Janitor provides classroom coverage as needed throughout the day and ensures The Sunshine Academy meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety required by Montana licensing and the Health Department.
