Preschool Teacher (Guide)

Preschool Teacher (Guide) StoryBook Hollow Montessori School is looking for a primary teacher (Guide) for our school. To qualify as a primary teacher you must have 2 or more years in a licensed preschool or daycare within the state of Montana, or have a degree in education or early childhood education. Prior experience in a Montessori School is a plus but not necessary as tuition for this can be provided for the right candidate. The candidate would be able to implement daily routines (established already), hold circle time, help students resolve conflict with each other, and assist students in becoming independent. They would share responsibility for keeping the environment clean and communicating regularly with the other teachers. This position needs to be filled immediately and includes $500.00 bonus for the right candidate. Finally, Montessori teachers need to have a professional attitude. This attitude reflects commitment, self-care, self-discipline, sense of humor, patience, flexibility, dedication, and genuine appreciation and respect for young children. Our mission at StoryBook Hollow is for children to discover a passion for learning and a joy for newly discovered independence as they work with others in our family-like community in a Montessori environment. We are located between Billings and Laurel with a park like setting on 2.4 acres. Hours of operation are 7:30-5:30 M-Th and 7:30-4:00 on Fridays.
