Responsibilities Develop and execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education to support comprehensive childhood development. Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth among preschoolers. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies that promote positive conduct and respect. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address individual needs—including special education and early intervention—and foster strong home-school connections. Implement classroom management techniques that maintain a safe, organized environment conducive to active learning and child welfare. Support toddlers' care needs by providing attentive supervision, fostering early childhood education principles, and ensuring compliance with childcare standards. Skills Extensive experience in preschool or early childhood education with a strong foundation in childhood development principles. Proficiency in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education. Excellent classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques tailored for young learners. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, and parents. Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare standards, and best practices in child welfare.
