Summer Lead Preschool Teacher

This position would start training May 2026 and run through the summer into August. For the right candidate, the position could go into the 2026/2027 school year (September-August 2026) and beyond. If you love to play and engage with children by caring for the earth, exploring the natural world and supporting sustainable systems and healthy lifestyles, this is the job for you! Garden! Dance! Successful candidates must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience as a lead teacher of children 2-5 years old
• Experience with curriculum implementation
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills and self-accountability
• Experience and skills working as a team
• Proficient w/ systems such as, Zoom, Google Drive and Calendar, email, and communication systems (or teachable).
• Interest in mindfulness and eco-literacy

Qualities:

nurturing, grounded, mindful, emotionally intelligent, adaptable/flexible, teachable, open-minded, compassionate, empathetic, dynamic, reliable, responsible, and professional. Required

• Infant/Child/Adult CPR & First Aid (must obtain within 30 days of hire) Preferred
