Our childcare environment is loving, fun, and safe for children, parents, and staff alike. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends. Saturday mornings are a required part of the schedule and one of our busiest times, so if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Changing diapers, feeding babies, getting snacks, rocking babies playing and interacting with all children Maintaining a safe environment for children Being present and working all scheduled hours Keeping the childcare room fresh, including making sure toys and furnishings are updated and in working condition Assisting with occasional program events, including, but not limited to Parent's Nights Out Cleaning room and toys Greeting parents Working with parents if they have special childcare needs Being mindful of the number of children in the room and staffing ratios The requirements below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Communication
  • engage and interact positively with members; speak clearly and professionally in positive or negative situations; listen and get clarification Customer Service
  • manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve service; respond to requests for service and assistance; meet commitments Interpersonal Skills
  • focus on conflict resolution All candidates will be required to complete a background check.
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED Experience working with babies and children recommended KNOWLEDGE and/or
SKILLS:
Strong interpersonal/problem solving skills Strong verbal communication skills Good organizational skills
