NC Pre-K Teacher Positions:
Lead Teacher, Teacher Assistant, or Substitute Apply Today:
Full Time and Part Time Positions Available Seeking excellent early childhood educators who: Value family and child relationships Love working with children and teams of supportive colleagues Understand Head Start, NC PreK, and child care laws Develop and Implement lesson plans and daily classroom schedules Supporting developmental domains for children's learning and social-emotional growth Supervising all children and maintain safety procedures Implementing instructional and assessment practices Maintaining positive open two-way communication with families
Requirements:
Lead Teacher:
Minimum of two years early childhood education experience AND graduation from a regional or accredited two or four-year college or university with a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Teacher Assistant/Substitutes:
High School Diploma or GED, NC Driver License & able to earn & maintain a DOT-issued CDL Pass a physical exam, TB Test, drug screen and a pre-employment and criminal background check Maintain a Criminal Background Check Qualification letter from
NC DCDEE
Complete Early Childhood Education & Development training Minimum of one year of early childhood education experience or equivalent Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus

  • Has current Birth to Kindergarten Continuing Professional License from NC DPI or equivalent
  • Starting at $28.06 Teacher III
  • Has current Birth to Kindergarten Initial Professional License from NC DPI or equivalent
  • Starting at $24.97 Teacher II
  • Has a Birth to Kindergarten Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Starting at $23.56 Teacher I
  • Has an Early Childhood Education Associate's degree or equivalent
  • Starting at $17.60 Teacher Assistant and/or Substitute
  • Has a High School Diploma or GED
  • Starting at $15.
