Early Childhood Teacher

Responsibilities Believes in Whiz Kidz Early Learning Center's philosophy Represents Whiz Kidz Early Learning Center's Core Values Implement adopted educational curriculum Encourage teaching team success through modeling Plan appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth for individual and group learning Communicate frequently with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences Ensure all North Carolina's policies and regulations are met. Establish and create a healthy, safe, nurturing, classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children. Build a trustful relationship, and coach teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards Maintain accurate records, forms, and files Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure goals are being achieved Education, Experience, and Skills Preferred Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study with a minimum of 24 credits in Early Childhood Education Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare experience but not required. Great verbal and written communication Familiar with Google, Microsoft, and other computer skills Great collaboration skills and teamwork experience Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification. Must have a clear background check and must pass health assessment Physical Requirements Whiz Kidz teachers must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk consistently throughout the day, and will be required to squat, crawl, and bend regularly If you are a dedicated and caring individual who is passionate about early childhood education, we would love to hear from you.
