Children Ministry Leader

New Covenant Church is seeking a passionate, committed follower of Jesus to serve in our growing children's ministry (NC Kids). This role is ideal for someone who loves Jesus, loves children, and is excited to help the next generation grow in their relationship with God. You will lead engaging, Bible-centered lessons in a fun, safe, and Spirit-filled environment on Sunday mornings (and Wednesday evenings during the school year), while working alongside a supportive ministry team. Key Responsibilities Teach age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons Create a welcoming, engaging, and spiritually enriching classroom Lead children in prayer, worship, and discussion Reinforce biblical truths in practical, memorable ways Maintain a safe and orderly classroom Communicate with parents and ministry leaders Arrive prepared and on time Qualifications A strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ A lifestyle that reflects Christian values Agreement with the mission and beliefs of New Covenant Church A heart for discipling children Reliable and team-oriented Experience working with children preferred Ability to pass a background check Schedule Sunday mornings Wednesday evenings during the school year Occasional special events or trainings Compensation $15 per hour We're looking for someone who will: Help children grow in their relationship with God Build a strong biblical foundation Partner with parents in discipleship Contribute to a joyful, engaging church environment To Apply Please submit: A brief description of your faith journey Relevant experience with children Your availability Additional opportunities to serve within our children's ministry may be available for the right candidates.
