Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math, and overall early childhood development. Support classroom management by maintaining a structured, safe, and inclusive environment for children. Help supervise children during daily routines such as mealtime, nap time, outdoor play, and transitions between activities. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, including childhood development milestones. Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children. Knowledge of literacy education, math concepts or other educational philosophies like toddler care or preschool experience. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members clearly and professionally. Classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment while encouraging independence and cooperation among children. Familiarity with behavior management techniques.
