Job Overview Lead Early Childhood Educator (Preschool | Ages 3-5)
Learn & Play Preschool Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00
PM Compensation:
$13-$16 per hour Step Into a Meaningful Classroom Leadership Role Learn & Play Preschool is entering the new year with excitement and growth, and we're looking for a dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to take the reins of our 3-5-year-old classroom. This position is perfect for an educator who enjoys structure, values play with intention, and is ready to confidently guide a classroom while shaping young learners' early experiences. In this role, you'll manage your own classroom, work alongside a collaborative team, and have the tools and support needed to create a nurturing, engaging, and well-organized learning space. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons rooted in developmentally appropriate and play-centered learning Establish clear routines that promote independence, confidence, and smooth transitions throughout the day Foster children's social, emotional, and early academic growth Maintain a positive, structured, and welcoming classroom environment Partner with fellow educators to enhance classroom activities and curriculum goals Share regular updates with families regarding student progress and achievements Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing standards Qualifications & Skills North Carolina Lead Teacher Credential (completed or actively working toward) High school diploma or GED required; Early Childhood Education coursework or credentials preferred Must meet
