Bilingual English/Spanish Preschool Teacher

  • Sensory-Friendly Drop-Off Program We are looking for a warm, patient, energetic, and bilingual English/Spanish teacher to lead our Rock Out Morning sensory-friendly drop-off program for walking toddlers through age 5.
Rock Out Morning is designed for children who may not thrive in a traditional classroom environment. Our program provides structured play, sensory activities, movement, and a calm-down space in a fully equipped sensory gym.
Position Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-12:30
PM Position:
Part-Time Age Group:
Walking toddlers (approximately 12-15 months) through age 5
Group Size:
Maximum of 5 children
Languages:
English and Spanish About the Role The teacher will provide a nurturing, structured, and sensory-friendly environment where young children can play, explore, learn, and build confidence. You will work with a small group of children, allowing for individualized attention and a calm, supportive atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide attentive care and supervision for children ages 12 months-5 years Lead structured play and age-appropriate sensory activities Create engaging activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Use both English and Spanish to communicate with children and support bilingual development Help children transition between activities and manage sensory needs Utilize our sensory gym and designated calm-down space appropriately Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment Provide positive guidance and support to children who may become overwhelmed or overstimulated Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers Follow all safety, health, and childcare policies What We're Looking For Fluent in English and Spanish Experience working with toddlers, preschoolers, or young children Patient, nurturing, dependable, and energetic Comfortable working with children who have different sensory and behavioral needs Able to create structure while remaining flexible to individual children's needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Early childhood education, childcare, teaching, or related experience preferred Why Join Us? Pay:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
