Lead Early Childhood Teacher Milestone Minds Learning Center is seeking an experienced, dependable, and intentional Lead Early Childhood Teacher to lead a small classroom of up to six children in a Family Childcare Home. Our small-group environment allows our Lead Teacher to truly get to know each child, understand where they are developmentally, and provide individualized support. We are looking for an educator who can create a structured, nurturing learning environment while helping children build the academic, developmental, social, and practical skills they need to grow. Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the developmental needs and abilities of each child Observe and assess children's development and use those observations to guide instruction and individualized learning goals Help children work toward developmental and educational milestones through personalized instruction and support Incorporate early literacy, numbers, colors, shapes, vocabulary, problem-solving, and other foundational skills into daily learning Support practical life skills, independence, communication, sharing, taking turns, following directions, and other interpersonal skills Maintain consistent classroom routines, expectations, and positive behavior guidance Create and maintain an organized, clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment Document children's progress and maintain required classroom records Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress, goals, and areas where additional support may be beneficial Conduct parent conferences and partner with families to support each child's learning and development Collaborate with administration, other teachers, and professionals supporting the children Follow all health, safety, sanitation, licensing, and regulatory requirements Participate in required professional development and annual evaluations Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate degree or higher with the equivalent of 30 college quarter credits in Early Childhood Education Previous early childhood classroom experience required Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability to develop lesson plans and adapt instruction based on individual developmental and learning needs Strong classroom management, organization, documentation, and communication skills Ability to build professional and collaborative relationships with families Health examination, criminal background check, and TB test required CPR/First Aid and SIDS/Shaken Baby certifications required or willingness to obtain Three professional references required Commitment to continued professional development What We're Looking For We are looking for an educator who wants the opportunity to truly teach . Pay:

$20.00-$23.00 per hour. Starting pay will be determined based on education, credentials, relevant early childhood experience, and demonstrated classroom leadership.
