Our research based philosophy focuses on small classroom sizes with individual teaching and using literature throughout the classroom. We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher. The teacher will build and implement engaging lesson plans focusing on meeting children's individual developmental goals while managing a classroom. The teacher will promote learning through play and exploration. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with North Carolina early learning standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques Provide individualized support to children in all development areas Observe, assess and document children's progress and childhood development milestones. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in early childhood education. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education research. Willingness to continue education in early childhood if less than an bachelors in birth to kindergarten Qualifications High school diploma or
