MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Lead Teachers must have earned the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) or its equivalent and prior experience in a child care facility environment. Priority will be given to those with degrees from accredited universities / community colleges. Fingerprinting and background checks are conducted on all of our potential and current employees. A current qualification letter must be received from the NC Department of Health and Human Services Criminal Record Check Unit verifying eligibility under NC child care laws. All staff must have an initial medical report signed by a licensed physician or an authorized health professional under his/her supervision, that indicates that the person is emotionally and physically fit to care for children prior to employment and free of active tuberculosis.
