Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Your expertise will guide classroom activities, support team collaboration, and ensure that each child's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum development tailored to infants' developmental stages, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and learning through play. Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized care plans to support each child's well-being and development. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships centered on child welfare. Incorporate early intervention techniques when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements while maintaining meticulous documentation. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, specifically with infants or toddlers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Background in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, physical education, and Montessori methods preferred. Experience in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Demonstrated ability to lead a classroom while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently. Certification in early childhood education or related field required; additional qualifications in preschool experience or daycare management are a plus. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and lesson planning for early learners is advantageous.
