In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula tailored to toddler development, and foster a safe, supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working alongside a dedicated team committed to excellence in early childhood education. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth for toddlers. Lead daily classroom activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Foster effective communication with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's development and classroom experiences. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports active learning and safety standards. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and early intervention techniques. Experience developing curriculum content that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare practices, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification. Proven ability to communicate clearly with parents, staff, and community partners about child progress and classroom activities. Strong background in preschool teaching or private school experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for working with young children is essential.
