Preschool Teacher

Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; NC Early Childhood Credential (EDU 119) is required. CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred Knowledge of child development , age-appropriate practices, and classroom management strategies Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons Must meet state licensing requirements , including background screening and health requirements Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to lift up to 40 pounds , sit on the floor, and actively engage with children throughout the day Reliable attendance and a strong sense of professionalism
