Substitute Christian Weekday Preschool Teacher

Summary Objective:

Serve as a flexible and reliable team member to help provide care, supervision, and engaging learning activities for infants and preschool-aged children in a Christ-centered environment. Substitutes are contacted the week prior to confirm their availability for the following week's schedule.

Provide a safe, caring, and joyful environment where children feel loved and supported. Communicate effectively with staff and families, using tact, patience, and kindness.

Position Details:

Part-time position of less than 40 hours per week Hours vary based on classroom needs and substitute availability Scheduled weekly based on availability confirmed the week prior

Duties What You'll Do:

Assist the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines and activities. Support children's growth through play, learning, and creative exploration. Provide classroom coverage when staff are absent, following lesson plans and daily schedules. Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained. Foster positive relationships with children and families in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

Requirements Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required CPR/First Aid training (or willingness to obtain) Nice To Haves Early childhood credentials (preferred but not required) Benefits Christian fellowship & encouragement Sharing Jesus love with families, children, and team mates.
