In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills in children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape a positive learning experience for preschoolers and toddlers, laying the groundwork for their future academic success. Responsibilities Implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of children, including literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and classroom management strategies. Conduct ongoing assessments of child development progress through standardized testing and observational techniques. Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to share insights on child welfare, progress, and classroom activities. Manage daily classroom routines, including toddler care, preschool activities, and early intervention strategies when needed. Ensure compliance with Corporate and State rules and guidelines. Documentation of incidents or concerns related to child safety. Incorporate special education techniques to support children with diverse learning needs and foster inclusive learning experiences. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons focused on holistic child development including math, literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical activity. Ability to physically and mentally interact and react to children on the playground and/or in the classroom and attend to their needs. This includes moderate and vigorous physical activity that may requires ability to lift 35lb.
