If you enjoy creating a safe, engaging learning environment and helping young children reach developmental milestones, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities and lessons. Create a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom. Support children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest time. Assist with toileting and daily care routines as needed. Observe children's progress and communicate with families. Work collaboratively with staff and encourage parent involvement. Follow all North Carolina childcare licensing regulations and center policies. Qualifications NC Lead Teacher qualification required (NC Early Childhood Credential or Early Childhood degree). Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills. Dependable, positive, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team.
Pay:
$16.50 - $19.50 per hour
