Job Description

(must be able to manage multiple projects, tasks and manage work to be done on time)
AND HAVE NOT HELD ONE OF THOSE POSITIONS IN CHILDCARE FOR A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR
you must have worked as an Administrator /Assistant Director/Director in a 5 STAR licensed child care center for a minimum of one year. This means that you must have been either an
ASSOCIATE/ASSISTANT OR FULL DIRECTOR OF A NORTH CAROLINA LICENSED CHILDCARE /PRESCHOOL CENTER. A
positive attitude, leadership skills, project and people management
EXPERIENCE
in
CHILDCARE
Day to day operations, a self starter who operates with an "every day we can make a difference" along with a warm and friendly disposition is essential to this role. We are looking for an additional Childcare Associate Director or Director
WITH SOLID PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PEOPLE MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES
to join our team of administrators! a professional with amazing communication skills who is looking for a safe, healthy, fun and prosperous role at our beautiful 5 Star child care center. Candidate must be able to effectively cover closing tasks and close the center at night (the Center closes at 6pm). Must have attention to detail and ensure that all classrooms and staff are regularly reminded of, follow our private preschool policies and those that support our State and 5 STAR standards. First hand experience with rules and regulations of North Carolina regulations, Sanitation and licensing knowledge is a must. This role must have a great love and patience for working with children under the age of 5, parents and other staff members managing operations projects and tasks to be completed on time daily. Someone who knows that the role of a childcare Manager/Administrator has many facets, changes on a dime and can calmly and effectively carryout tasks and management activities in this setting. Professional in childcare must immediately and calmly be able to assess and react to situations that are typical of this environment and work through quick resolves and long-term improvements while communicating to the rest of the Management team for full transparency. Professional communicators, positive team players and problem solvers need only apply :) Please know that the salary, bonuses and overall compensation commiserates with the level Administrator you are; Assistant Director, Level 2 Director or Level 3 Director. Must have the personal drive and motivation to have attained a degree in Early Childhood Education, NC Credentials and has taken Admin courses over their many years in the ECE field. Must also be an independently strong spirited professional that does not take short-cuts or avoids difficult situations and work. This role has opportunity to grow and must have the ability to see the bigger picture, accepts responsibility and receives constructive criticism with an outlook that this is a learning moment. You must be a good communicator, who knows when to immediately seek additional support and assistance and who never leaves open areas that can cause risk to our programs. SOLVER and know how to prioritize. Must be able to plan work, events, manage timelines to complete tasks in a timely manner, plan for time to accomplish tasks and manage self and team to be successful. You must understand the regulations, rules and guidelines that are requirements of a Five Star Center in North Carolina and be able to maintain accuracy in ALL records and requirements at all times. We are a fully staffed center but any role in management may occasionally cover classrooms need to maintain ratio or cover breaks as needed.
