Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-time PreK Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's development through engaging lessons, compassionate care, and innovative teaching strategies. As a vital member of our educational team, you will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and early literacy and numeracy skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster a love of learning in every child you serve. Responsibilities Develop lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating best practices in early childhood education. We assist with this. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports social-emotional development, positive behavior management, and inclusive practices for children with diverse needs. Manage classroom activities effectively to ensure safety, organization, and active participation from all students. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor progress, discuss developmental milestones, and support child welfare initiatives. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate to track learning outcomes and inform instructional strategies. Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior management plans, lesson plans, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards and school policies. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques. Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool or PreK settings. Expertise in classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and an inclusive atmosphere. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Competence in using standardized testing tools for assessment purposes. Pay:
