Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Childcare Provider and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Your enthusiasm, patience, and expertise will help foster positive childhood development while supporting families with their childcare needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood education and caregiving in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities Provide attentive care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills, including teaching basic concepts and encouraging exploration Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that supports developmental milestones and classroom routines Administer first aid when necessary and follow health protocols to ensure children's safety and hygiene standards are met Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate daily updates on children's progress, behaviors, and needs Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized care Manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent boundaries Qualifications Prior experience working with children in child care, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Ability to handle behavioral challenges with tact and professionalism Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment that supports learning and growth HS Diploma required. Must be willing to take EDU 119 within first year of employment. Pay:
$13.50 - $22.00 per hour
