Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and guide our preschoolers through their early childhood journey. In this vital role, you will design engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support the developmental needs of young children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a nurturing space where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood education principles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Lead daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers and preschoolers. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods and other educational best practices. Support children's developmental milestones by observing progress and adjusting instruction accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental needs in a clear and compassionate manner. Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements while maintaining organized classroom records. Skills Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool settings. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learners. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education activities. Experience working with children of various ages including toddlers; familiarity with daycare or private school environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment tools. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.50 per hour
