Requirements :
10 Month commitment WORKS Qualification CBC Qualification Letter Documentation of CPR/First Aid Certification Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool children's needs, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, curiosity, and positive behavior management Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports children's physical and emotional well-being through effective classroom management and behavior strategies Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and encourage family engagement in children's learning journeys Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and classroom records Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate childhood development principles and standardized testing when applicable Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and adherence to program standards Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and child development instruction Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Proficiency in classroom management, child welfare policies, and health & safety procedures such as first aid and CPR certification Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to implement literacy education initiatives and incorporate math activities into daily lessons Experience teaching physical education and fostering social-emotional skills in young children Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect; ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while promoting a positive learning environment Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality early childhood education that empowers young learners to thrive!

$3,500.00 - $4,100.00 per month
